Utility Services Start-Up

Tucson Utilities Connections are important to arrange early. As a renter it is important to arrange for all your utilities to be connected at the start of the lease.   All of the utilities can be set up by calling customer service. Tell them you are renting a home here and you would like to have services put into your name and active by such & such a date. They are used to this and will quickly guide you through the process. In some cases you will  be able to establish service online.

You should call them at least a week before your move in date to make sure they have time to make the switch. Utility needs will vary by property and depends on the home. Not all homes will need gas service as they have electric water heaters, stoves and such. I recommend calling to verify this with each company.
